Abstract

This study designs a smart agriculture monitoring system using soil moisture, temperature, and light sensors connected via MQTT to a Node-RED dashboard. Field tests on a 0.5 ha horticultural plot show up to 28% irrigation water savings versus conventional methods, with average data latency of 180 ms.
